Cholera Vaccination
Planning to travel abroad or concerned about your health?

What is Cholera?
Cholera is an acute bacterial infection caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. It primarily spreads through contaminated food and water, particularly in areas with poor sanitation and inadequate access to clean water. Cholera can lead to severe diarrhea and dehydration, and if left untreated, can be fatal.
Though Cholera is treatable with antibiotics and drinking lots of water, the Cholera vaccine is the key—especially for travellers to areas with outbreaks.
